Today started off bad. I got up to go to work and found a leak in our bathroom. (We live on the bottom floor of our condo complex.) The lady above us had a half an inch to a full inch of standing water which leaked into our home. Now it has spread, so it’s not just in the bathroom. It’s in our bedroom and in our bedroom closet. ARRGhhhhh! Well at least I get new carpet!!! YEAH!

•April 16, 2009 • 1 CommentI can’t beleive it! Maddison isn’t even 7 months old yet and as of today now has a tooth breaking through. It’s her bottom center left tooth. No more baby gums! I am looking forward to her teeth coming in but am going to miss those adorable smiles where all you see is her Gums. GOODBYE GUMS!!!
Maddison is CRAWLING!!
•March 4, 2009 • 1 CommentWell two days ago Maddison took her first crawl. She has done it again and again and Kyle got to see her crawl for 12 inches yesterday, so he was one pretty happy Daddy!
Stewart Update
•February 4, 2009 • 1 CommentSummer informed me I am terrible at blogging, and I have to say I agree. So my goal for 2009 is to become a better blogger. (No promises, but I will try)
It is now 2009. I am currently laying on the couch with my very sick 4 month old baby girl. She has had a temperature of 104 and it’s not going down much with motrin. Yesterday we went to the doctor and they diagnosed her with a double ear infection. Her cough right now is so bad she throws her food up from coughing so hard.
Maddison has been the best thing for Kyle and I. We are loving evry minute of it. Kyle has been already talking about having another, but don’t worry i’m not ready yet, so that won’t be happening anytime soon. I’m enjoying my time with Maddison right now. Maddison is doing so good. She smiles all the time and can roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back. For about 2 weeks now she has learned to master the raspberries with her mouth. She also learned if she does it she will get either Kyle or My attention. We recently started her on rice cereal and it’s very entertaining to watch.
Here are some current pictures of Maddison.
Maddison Grace
•October 18, 2008 • 1 CommentMaddison Grace has finally arrived. I know I am a bit late on posting it as she is now 3 weeks old. You could say i’ve been a little busy enjoying her. Maddison was born on Thursday September 25th at 1:39a.m. I was in labor for 12hours and ended up having an emergency c-section. She weighed 7pound 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. Not as little as most people were thinking. But she is perfect and healthy. She sleeps great. Kyle and I couldn’t be happier. We have been loving every minute of it. Here are some pictures of her through the last few weeks.
Come on Maddison…. I want to see you!!!
•September 18, 2008 • 2 CommentsIt’s now September 18th and I am still pregnant. ARGHHHHHhhh My due date has been September 14th for the longest time until 2 or 3 weeks ago when they decided to inform me that they are going to push it back a week. My new due date is September 21st. I am getting so anxious to see our daughter. I can’t wait to hold her im my arms rather then in my belly. I can’t sleep, I’m up 6 times a night just to go the bathroom, I feel huge, my belly is constantly uncomfortable, her movements aren’t like little kicks anymore they are strong jabs. Please pray that she make her arrival soon. I want to see HER! Plus she is getting huge.
The Arrival of Sage
•August 20, 2008 • Leave a CommentOn Friday August 15th Summer had an emergency C-Section, due to baby running small in size doctors were concerned. Turns out baby is Perfect, just small. And God blessed Summer with a GIRL. Her name is Sage Olivia, she was 5 pounds 12 ounces and 17 1/2 inches. She is strong, healthy and beautiful. Summer is doing great and was strong through the whole situation. Canyon is adapting to being a big brother but loves his baby sister. And Brad is nervous, he is already concerned about boys when she grows up, but is excited to have a daughter. Congratulations Scandrett Family!!!

Baby Update
•July 14, 2008 • 1 CommentRecently I had to have another ultrasound as I was not measuring as big as I should be, so the doctor just wanted to check and make sure everything was fine. (My sister Summer was experiencing the same exact thing in her pregnancy right now.) Well it turns out everything is fine, baby Maddison is just running a little on the small side. (not midget small, though) So now the countdown really begins as I just reached 31 weeks. Hopefully we have baby in 6 weeks, that would be ideal. But I have a feeling she is going to be stubborn and come late.
